Synopsis: The Run is a working title for a project about a serial killer set during the 1930s. We follow our hero, Elliott Ness, fresh off the heals of catching Al Capone as he is out witted at every turn by what some people describe as America’s answer to Jack the Ripper (only with a higher body count).  The setting is Cleveland, Ohio at the time of the great depression. The Run is best described as “Boardwalk Empire” meets “True Detective (Season 1)”. As Nietzsche advised, “He who fights with monsters should be careful lest he thereby becomes a monster” but Ness, is counted as the murderers 13th Victim as the crime is still unsolved to this day and destroyed his marriage, his health, his career and his reputation.
